Gáspár Nagy on software

coach, trainer and bdd addict, creator of SpecFlow; owner of Spec Solutions

About Me

by Gáspár on August 24, 2012

My name is Gáspár Nagy and I live in Budapest, Hungary.

Nagy is the most common last name in Hungary, and it simply means big. So it’s a simple word. Despite it’s simplicity, only Hungarian people can pronounce it properly. You have god chances though by trying to say “nadj”, with a closed “a”. Let me know how it went (or just call me Gaspar).

I’m an independent coach, trainer and test automation expert focusing on helping teams implementing BDD and SpecFlow through my company, called Spec Solutions. I have more than 15 years of experience in enterprise software development as I worked as an architect and agile developer coach. I am a regular speaker in conferences all across Europe.

I am the creator and main contributor of SpecFlow, the most widely used ATDD/BDD framework for .NET.

I am an approved trainer in the Certified Scrum Developer program of Scrum Alliance and Microsoft Certified Professional for Visual Studio Team Foundation Server.
